I am SO looking forward to moving in to this room. When I find myself in a room that does not have an east-facing window - which often happens when I travel - I find I sleep pretty late and wake up groggy. No chance of that in this room.

When the cats are away...
...the plumbers play. We took off for an overnight to Portland, Maine on Thursday. Nice town!
...and the new one all installed.
The plumbers also installed some of the baseboard heating units in the existing house - in the mudroom (a.ka. our bedroom - that's the front door of the house on the left, and the foot of the bed is just off-camera to the right), the bathroom, and the kitchen.
Somebody also carried a whole lot of drywall into both the upstairs and downstairs in anticipation of next week's fun.
The area around the tub has been reinforced with plywood all the way around. This is great, because it means we can install things like grab bars without having to worry about finding the studs.
Last, but not least, many - perhaps all, come to think of it - of the newly-stained windowsills have also been installed.
