Drywall begins in earnest

Two drywalling guys were here today. They'll be here a couple of weeks. For now, they're cutting and hanging the pieces. Today, they did...

...the wall outside the bathroom. That Frankenstein square in the middle of the wall is because that's how it's framed. That's the alcove at the end of the tub for shampoo, rubber duckies, etc..

The outside wall of the bathroom - Kevin's standing down on the stairwell landing...

Here's the walk-in closet...

...and the inside of the closet under the stairs, on the first floor.

Also, they set up the all-important "we're goofing off now" break area -- very key.

Oh, one thing I wanted to point out - this is a few days old, but I forgot to mention it. The window on the interior of the bathroom - the one that will wrap around the corner, mimicking the windows in the external wall of the house - well, they asked us if we wanted the glass to go all the way to the corner, with no post. And we said Oh Yeah.

Here's the "before" picture - the post that's circled?
It's gone, Daddy, gone.
